Nestled just minutes from Sacramento, Clarksburg offers visitors the best of Sacramento area wine tasting and touring. The Clarksburg AVA is recognized statewide and beyond for consistently delivering quality grapes and wines. Growing grapes is more than an occupation in our family.  It is a passion that drives us day in and day out to produce the highest quality achievable.  When it comes to the grape growing process, our approach is “hands-on”.  Our estate vineyards are hand pruned, picked, and tended.
The Scribner family has been in California for 5 generations, beginning with George Washington Scribner in 1893. Our ranch runs along the Sacramento Delta where our family has farmed for over 100 years.

So happy to have found the Clarksburg AVA! I’m lucky to live in Northern California where I can find beautiful weekend trips under a two hour drive. I recently discovered this area while searching for a new region to enjoy some wine and fun! I stayed 20 minutes away in Sacramento so I could experience a little bit of the city too. Some fun activities include tasting at amazing local wineries, the Old Sugar Mill and Sacramento River tours. Already planning my next visit back. Cheers!
